Coolpad launches Note 8 in India to remind us that it’s still around
After a period of laying low, Coolpad has announced the launch of Coolpad Note 8 in India – a sub-$150 budget smartphone.
In a press statement, Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India did not beat around the bush and stated that the company is looking forward to making an impact in the Indian market with the Note 8 after going through a rough phase in the market.
Specifications
The metal body Coolpad Note 8 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2160) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The Coolpad Note 8 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card. There’s a 4000 mAh non-removable battery.
There’s 16MP + 0.3MP dual camera at the back and an 8MP front camera. The device offers fingerprint scanner as well as Face unlock feature.

Priced at 9,999 rupees ($135), the Coolpad Note 8 is available in black color variant exclusively online at Paytm Mall.
