While there weren’t too many surprises at the event — considering most of the information on the phones leaked weeks ago — the two devices still have some interesting and exciting features and you might want to own one!
When you buy a new smartphone though, you’re not just getting the phone. You also have to buy complementary accessories for the device, like cases, headphones, screen protectors, etc. With that in mind, it’s good to know what Google Pixel 3 accessories are available, which is what this roundup is all about!

Cases and screen protectors
Of all the Google Pixel 3 accessories you plan to buy, none will be as important as the case. Not only does the case protect your smartphone investment from the inevitable drops and spills you’ll put it through (you know it’s true), but the case will also be an expression of who you are.

The Bellroy Leather Case is actually pretty reasonably priced, considering it’s all real leather. The Google Pixel 3 case will set you back $45, while the Pixel 3 XL version will cost $49.
Finally, no matter which case you buy, you’re going to need a screen protector. Even if you decide to go naked and not buy a case, a screen protector is indispensable when it comes to Google Pixel 3 accessories.
Google recommends the InvisibleShield Glass+ VisionGuard Screen Protector for Google Pixel 3. It’s as premium as it gets at $45, but this is probably the only screen protector you’ll need for your new smartphone investment.
Unfortunately, the InvisibleShield Glass+ VisionGuard Screen Protector for Google Pixel 3 is listed only as “Coming Soon” at the Google Store, but it will likely become available closer to the middle of October when the devices start shipping.
Charging and dongles
One of the standout features of the Google Pixel 3 as compared to previous Pixel generations is the fact that it can be wirelessly charged. If you’re going to spend $800 or more on a smartphone with wireless charging capabilities, you’d better get something to wirelessly charge it!
Google created the Pixel Stand — the company’s first wireless charging dock — to not only charge your Pixel 3 but also give it new functionality. Using Pixel Stand, you can turn your phone into a de facto smart display, as placing your Pixel 3 onto the stand triggers a new UI within Android. It gives you quick access to Google Assistant, plays a photo slideshow, and does other neat tricks which your standard wireless charging docks won’t do:

Granted, the Google Pixel 3 will come with a USB Type-C cable and wall adapter in the box, so you don’t really need the Pixel Stand. But you have to admit, the device is really cool and probably worth its $79 asking price.

There may be no headphone jack on the Google Pixel 3, but that shouldn’t stop you from using your new smartphone to listen to music, watch movies, or binge the latest podcast episodes. To do that, you’re going to need some earbuds, and luckily there are some good options for you.
When you buy your Google Pixel 3, you’ll find a set of Google Pixel USB-C earbuds right inside the box (thanks, Google). They look a lot like the Pixel Buds, but are wired instead of wireless:
Obviously, if you buy a Pixel 3 you already have these earbuds, but if you lose them or want a second backup pair, they’ll only cost you $30 from the Google Store.
If you’re looking to invest in something wireless with more features, you might want to bite the bullet and get some Google Pixel Buds. Unfortunately, Google didn’t launch the follow-up to the Pixel Buds today at its hardware event, so the original pair is what you’ll have to stick with for now:
The Google Pixel Buds are much more expensive than their wired counterparts and will cost you a cool $159.

There’s no question that the Google Pixel 2 has one of the best mobile camera setups available, and we can only expect the Google Pixel 3 to meet or exceed its predecessor in that respect.
