  • Alleged renders of the Moto G7 show off a waterdrop-shaped notch and slim bezels along the sides.
  • The Moto G7 may have also shown up in the FCC in the form of two model numbers.

With rumors that the Moto G7 looked toward Oppo and Vivo for notch inspiration, alleged renders from Mr Gizmo and a quiet visit to the FCC may have revealed the phone to be an affordable option with a waterdrop-shaped notch.

Based on the renders, the Moto G7 will also feature slim bezels along the left and right sides. There is still a chin at the bottom where the Motorola logo lives. Overall, the design gives the Moto G7 a look similar to that of the OnePlus 6T, Oppo F9, and Vivo V11 Pro.

The Moto G7 also possibly visited the FCC in the form of two model numbers: XT1965-3 and XT1952-2. The listings revealed support for the octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM, dual rear cameras, and NFC support near the middle. The listings also revealed support for 2.4 and 5GHz Wi-Fi. There is a chance that these two listings are the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus, but take that with a big grain of salt.

All of this paints a picture of the Moto G7 arriving as a nice-looking smartphone that will not make your wallet cry. In addition to the aforementioned specs, the Moto G7 will reportedly feature a 6-inch display with Full HD+ resolution, dual 16- and 5-megapixel rear cameras, 64GB of storage, and a 3,500mAh battery. The Moto G7 might also run Android 9 Pie out of the box, with the rumored Moto G7 Plus possibly featuring additional specs in one or two areas.

If the Moto G7 ended up looking like this and featuring these specs, would you pick one up? Sound off the comments below!
