Honor View 20 specs: what’s Honor’s new flagship packing?

Honor has launched its new flagship smartphone, the View 20, in Europe. The handset, which was first revealed in December in China, is among the first Android phones to include a punch hole-style notch and a 48MP camera. Here’s a quick look at its specs.

Most of the attention is on that inconspicuous cutout at the top-left of its Full HD display, but the View 20 is no one-trick pony. The handset also includes a time-of-flight (TOF) sensor which can help map 3D objects in the real world — something which has significant implications for AR/VR (you can read more on TOF tech here). That’s as well as a unique rear-design with a “V” theme.

Meanwhile, its 48MP camera sensor should help deliver high-quality snaps (at least during the daytime), and its flagship Huawei chipset (Kirin 980), 6/8GB RAM and 4,000mAh battery combo should ensure it performs well and has better-than-average battery life.

You’ll find the increasingly rare headphone port on the View 20 too, though it lacks some of the trimmings of its competitors like microSD card support and an IP rating for dust and water resistance.
