Nubia has announced extended availability for its Red Magic Mars smartphone at CES 2019. Starting on January 31, North American customers will be able to purchase the device for $399 from Nubia’s dedicated global website.

The phone will also be available in Europe from the same date, but Nubia has yet to confirm European pricing for its latest gaming phone.

You might remember the Nubia Red Magic Mars from our coverage of its launch in China about a month ago. To recap, the Red Magic Mars features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and comes in three different variants. You can get it with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or 10GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Red Magic Mars keeps cool with a hybrid air and liquid cooling system

The Red Magic Mars is a smartphone designed for gaming, through and through. It includes a notch-less 6-inch, Full HD+ display, a moderately-sized 3,800mAh battery, and an LED light strip on the back. Nubia says the Red Magic Mars keeps cool with a hybrid air and liquid cooling system.

We’re sure that mobile gamers will enjoy a few of the phone’s bonus features; for example, the phone sports shoulder triggers. The Red Magic Mars is also compatible with a Nintendo Switch-style gamepad attachment accessory which looks a bit like Huawei’s Mate 20 X similar peripheral.

It’s great to see this smartphone come to markets like the U.S. and Europe. We’re hoping that availability for other countries will be announced in the coming weeks.
