Those who have the following Xiaomi smartphones can download and run the Pie beta today:

Paranoid Android notes that some devices might get more beta updates than others due to device fixes and improvements by maintainers. Paranoid Android also stated that builds with the same date would have the same features.

If you don’t own any of the aforementioned Xiaomi smartphones, don’t fret. According to the announcement post, the Pie beta of Paranoid Android will be available for the Essential Phone, OnePlus 6/6T, Motorola Moto G5 Plus, and Xperia devices “in the near future.”

More good news: Paranoid Android changed the way it develops its ROM to include Generic System Images (GSIs). The team said it saw “decent device compatibility,” though it’s still studying and experimenting with QSSI, Qualcomm’s interpretation of GSIs.

You can go here to download Paranoid Android’s QSSI build. The only officially-supported devices so far are the OnePlus 5 and 5T. The team said the build should be compatible with your device if it features the Snapdragon 835 processor, is Project Treble-ready, runs the OEM stock version of Pie, and does not use A/B partitioning.
