OnePlus 6T Latest Updates

The unlocked variant of the OnePlus 6T is now receiving a new OxygenOS update. The update takes the device to version 9.0.12 and features the January 2019 Android security patch as well as a few other upgrades.

The largest upgrade is what OnePlus refers to as “deep Google Duo integration.” However, the only thing we could find that represents this update is the new addition of a video call icon within the dialer. Tapping that icon will call a contact using Duo.

The changelog also says something about “optimizations for display,” but we’re not sure what that refers to.

You can update to the latest OxygenOS version by going to Settings > System > System updates on your unlocked OnePlus 6T.
